COME FOR A VISIT,  LEARN FOR A LIFETIME.

The Morrow Home Place and Museum was established and preserved to illustrate a typical country home and the family's activities during the early part of the 20th century.

The Home is located within walking distance of the projected (2019) Owasso Public Schools' Morrow Elementary and in close proximity to the Collinsville Public Schools' Pat Herald Elementary. The Museum will focus on educational events and activities for children and will be a "living history" museum where the children will be encouraged to experience a "typical" day's activities of a farm child during the decades of the 30's, 40's, 50's or 60's depending on the studies of the particular grade level.

Lucile Ellingwood Morrow, noted columnist, wrote the column, "Just Thoughts Of A Plain Country Woman," at this site from April 1937 to August 1970. The column was published weekly in The Collinsville News, The Tulsa World and many Northeastern Oklahoma newspapers and chronicled life on the farm during these decades.
