Kathleen Morrow displayed the branding iron from the "Lazy E" Ranch (portions of which are now the Cooper Ranch west of Collinsville). Kathleen's grandmother (Lucile Ellingwood Morrow ... long time Collinsville school teacher and columnist) grew up on the Lazy E which was also known as the Ellingwood-Brown Ranch.
Kathleen is working to preserve the Morrow Home Place.
Just months before statehood Collinsville, Indian Territory was busy with livestock shipped from the Lazy E and other local ranches.
